I was walking in the town centre today when I found something fantastic! There is a new shop next to the cinema, just opposite the bank. It"s small so it is difficult to notice it at first. They sell nursery bedding toys. You would never believe how wonderful the toys are! They are very unlike toys sold at supermarkets and popular kids" shops. They are not as colourful and they do not give out any strange sounds. They are not too bright and shiny, but they look very natural, I would say. There are some teddy bears and dolls made of cloth. I remember having a handknit doll when I was a child. There are also some wooden toys which stimulate the development of manual skills. I found some eco-friendly blocks, too! There were blocks for older children too, with some letters on them. I also noticed some pencils, paints and crayons made of non-toxic materials. I actually decided to buy a present for my niece. She"s turning two soon. I got a big doll, some wooden blocks and a nice T-shirt. They sell organic baby clothes as well! I guess the shop is a brilliant idea. People usually buy plastic toys or computer games for their children. Why not come back to the basic? I think eco-friendly toys can help develop a child"s imagination much better than anything.
